Such a lovely minimalistic coffee shop run by a very friendly and kind young man who’s passionated with his coffee. Fluke, the owner of the cafe, is knowledgable and skillful in the art of coffee making. We had a very pleasant time talking to him and learning about different coffee beans. We tried a medium roast in-house coffee bean from Nan in a hot latte and an iced-latte. This is just a perfect cup of joe. We love the beans with nutty, caramelish, and mild citrus taste notes that go really well with milk like this. He also offered for us to try one of the speciality single origin bean from Columbia with interesting taste note of peach, lychee, flowery and green tea.You would not imagine that coffee can have many different layers of taste notes. There aren’t many places that offer good coffee like this in Chiang Dao. We definitely recommend stopping by this place if you’re looking for a very good (or many cup/s) of coffee. They also offer different kinds of affordable desserts but on the day we visited this place, most of the desserts were already sold out. We look forward to coming back to this lovely small cafe the next time we’re coming to Chiang Dao.

Tasty and excellent value coffee and matcha in the heart of Chiang Dao.

I’ve been here quite often since 2022 and the shop has been renamed to “lonely cup” The Barista is skillful. His service mind and attention to details is perfect.He can remember what a regular customer orders every day very well. I don’t need to order no sugar at the end when he sees me. Also his knowledge in coffee making me interested to learn about the taste of coffee more. Personally, I only need a lot of caffeine to wake me up. The smell of coffee is pretty good The body is perfect. The coffee beans are good quality. The barista controls every cups of coffee quality and always seeks the best to the customers. I confirm. I give this cafe Number 1 in Chiang Dao and everyone can have it every day especially locals at the affordable price. The place is reachable from the bus station. You can reach there by walking. I’m his loyal customer and all of my friends from BKK love his baking and always buy twice.

This small café serves the best matcha latte I’ve ever had smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. The coffee was also superb, made with locally blended beans that give it a unique flavour.
